WW2 M26 French Army Adrian Helmet

Description

Vintage WW2 M26 French Adrian model army helmet.
Helmet is 12" x 9" x 6"
.
Was repainted with spray paint so be prepared to repaint as necessary to get the desired level of authenticity.
I am selling this "AS IS".  No liner and no strap.
Its used, but  in good condition for the age

See pictures for details and note that the last pic shows a repair where a dent was smoothed over by hammering from the inside.
I am not a military historian, but this is original the the period.  I bought it from a professional collector and rely on his representations.  I do not know what markings you will find when you remove the paint from the inside.
