We are pleased to offer This Lovely Black Silver Plate (Silverplate) Victorian Syrup Pitcher from our 40 Year Collection.  The Pitcher was manufactured by Middletown Plate Co.,
established in 1864, in Middletown, Connecticut.
This beautiful Pitcher is Quadruple plate Pattern #64.
This amazing and high quality Syrup Pitcher is very impressive with the black Silver Plate and the Bright Cut technique used to accentuate the wonderful decoration of flower and leaves on the body.
    This is TRUELY STRIKING!  P
    lease note the
gorgeous and ornate handle simple but elegant, the work of art on the base, and the wonderful finial design.   Our description and photos don't do this Syrup Pitcher justice.  It is absolutely gorgeous!
Please note this listing is for the Syrup Pitcher only.  Any item showing in the photos is for reference, an it may be found in a separate listing.  The approximate Measurements 5
1/2" Tall and 4" Wide including handle.
Beside the normal wear due to age and use, the pre-owned Pitcher is in wonderful condition.  It must have some minor surface marks or scratches due to use and age, but we don't really see them.  As we inspect the Pitcher, we really don't see any repairs, damage, etc.  We would consider this Syrup Pitcher to be in near mint condition.
Please note:  Victorian Black Silver pieces are rare.  This Pitcher is being offered in the unpolished as received condition, the black silver plate with bright cut etched design is spectacular as is.  Polishing this Pitcher will destroy its beauty, and could impact its value.
We do our best to describe the item's condition and provide visual photos.  We also offer a very conservative description of the condition to make sure we don't overlook any minor condition to ensure  you are pleasantly surprised/impressed to see the item in person, but please remember these items are 100 years old or older antiques.  So don't expect the item to be in perfect condition, unless the listing states that.
If you have any questions or need additional photos or information, please ask prior to bidding/buying.
This Syrup Pitcher was always displayed with our other Victorian Black Silver Plate Claret / Decanter Set Please see last photo of the set.  They made a gorgeous display.  This Victorian Syrup Pitcher will be a wonderful addition to any Victorian collection/display, or a great compliment to any Victorian Setting!

We are down sizing and selling our Victorian Collection at 25% - 70% off our original purchase price. This is a great opportunity to own such a wonderful antique Victorian item/set for a very reasonable price.
Over the next few weeks/months we will be listing numerous wonderful, perhaps rare and unusual Victorian Porcelain and Silver plate items as we downsize our collection of the last 40 years.  If you enjoy collecting Antique Victorian, Porcelain, and Silverplate Items, please add us to your saved sellers' list.  I promise you won't be disappointed.  I am not a pro at taking photos.  So please if you don't see a specific feature, please ask us for additional photos or information, since the photos are part of the description.  Thank you for looking.
We normally don't accept returns due to the amount of handling these 100 - 300 years old items will experience.  Antique items are sold as is, but if we agree to accept a return due damage or not as described, the shipping cost (to ship/return) will be absorbed by the buyer, and a 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund due to recent eBay/Buyer abuse experienced.  So please review the item, photos, and ask any and all the necessary questions prior to buying.
Shipping is normally USPS Parcel Ground.  We, also, made USPS priority shipping available, if you would prefer priority.
If you prefer other shipping options/carriers, please advise prior to payment.  We are very flexible.  We may need to substitute UPS/FedEx Ground for USPS Parcel Ground at the time of shipment, because it may be a faster delivery or other reasons.  Sometimes when possible, we will substitute USPS Priority to assure prompt arrival.  Please let us know, if you have an issue with the UPS/FedEx Ground substitution.   Thank you.
**If we could combine shipping to save you money, we will do so, and we will issue a shipping discount refund once the item is delivered/and eBay released the funds.
