Rare Vintage Silver Water Pitcher, Century Silver Edward and Holmes

Description

This is a very rare water pitcher that was probably gifted to commemorate something related to Industry in Utah, in 1923. It was much beloved and polished quite a bit over the decades. Although the plate is intact, the etchings were repeatedly polished so that it's evident that there has been thinning in the plate.
I feel that this piece was on display in some Office, or Club Lounge and it was polished, with special attention given to the commemorative stamp, so that it would stand out and be noticed. Whatever this pitcher commemorated, whomever was proud of it.
This set was much loved but rarely, if ever, used. The interiors are pristine. It is in incredible shape.
This piece looks better tarnished.
Holmes and Edwards are fine silverplate manufacturers and the quality of their silver pieces, outstanding.
This piece is usable, well made with classic lines.
