    Description

This RARE piece was found at a local estate sale. After much research, here is what we found out about it.
This was presented to Very Rev M.P. Connery V.G. on October 4th,1899
in memory of his Silver Jubilee at St. Columba’s Church. He was an idolized pastor who served the highest position for the Diocese of Buffalo and was responsible for St. Columba's being one of the most prominent and prosperous parishes. His Silver Jubilee was a GRAND event with around 200 priests brought in by train to attend this amazing celebration. Be sure to check out the article we found on the celebration, it’s attached in photos (no hard copies). This is such a RARE GEM! What I’d give to have seen this event!!!! His full name was Michael Patrick Connery and he has a brother named Henry Hugh. His parents were Patrick and Rose Scullin Connery. He died in 1912. There is so much history about him online once you get to really searching. Sold As-Is, No Returns.
This Tipper Water Pitcher has not been cleaned at all and will arrive in the very same condition it was found so please view all pics. The hinge is missing from the top and would be an easy repair. Inside is stained and you will see expected nicks and marks. It will be sold in as-is condition.
