RARE Fire King Vitrock Blue Circle CEREAL Glass Canister Chummy Advertising

This is a very rare kitchen piece that still has the original paper label advertising for Chummy chocolate malted milk drink, a product of the Euclid Coffee Co. This is a fun canister or storage jar that is part of the Fire King Glass Blue Circle line. This depression era series of kitchen glassware features Anchor Hocking's bright white Vitrock glass decorated with blue circles and a blue lid. It has CEREAL on it. The CEREAL one is hard to find and this rare one must have been sold with the Chummy chocolate milk powder inside and when you finished it you had a canister for your cereal. Similar to the jelly jars that became juice glasses after the jelly was gone. In the 1930’s-50s this was something a lot of companies did. It is 6-1/2” high. It is in great vintage condition with only some roughness on the inside edge of the rim of the base. The label has wear to the top edge as seen in the photos.
