It is easy to construct. But with that being said, it doesn't stay assembled for some reason. We have it on our pool deck and I find that with any wind it falls over

I had to buy bungie cords to wrap around the body of the box because there are no hard connections between pieces, so when you open the lid the assembled panels for entire box separate and it falls completely apart. Very poor design - the engineers really blew it on this one. Note 2nd photo where pieces are moving.

Lid does not snap into place

The lid does not close properly so you will have leakage. Also the wind can blow the top open unless you lock it. As you can see from my photos the corners do not snap into place. It looks like the side is uneven. The photos I took a week later because at first I could wiggle it to get it to kind of snap into place. Now there is no hope. There is a small plastic grove in the lid to hold it in place, so even if it was perfectly even I do not think it would stay in place very well. I cannot even lock it for the corners to stay down. I am so disappointed. I spent so much time researching this product and thought I had a good pick only to find out I wasted my time and money.

The hinges on the back are not very secure. I would like to see a spacer piece or something like that to make the hinges more solid. Felt like it was slightly flimsy. But that's the only flaw I found. 90 Gal was plenty big for my needs.

Ok. Overall it is pretty flimsy. The base already has a dent and small hole. My son assembled it and attempted to push the side in on uneven ground. So it was our fault. But, I think it was pretty flimsy to dent in that manner from a little strain.

Good sturdy deck box. Easy to assemble. Not quite as seal proof as I thought it would be but I put mine in a protected spot to minimize water getting in. Perfect size and pretty color neutral. For now dont need it as a bench but would work ok as one. Good purchase.

One of the plastic hinge pins was crooked and when I put a piece of wood on it and hit it with a hammer, (as per the instructions), the head broke off. I sent Rubber Maid an email. The sent me back an email acknowledgment. But never heard from them again. I bought 2, 5-1/2 inch galvanized bolts and it works fine. All I wanted them to do was send me a couple of pins. Not very good customer service.

Order came very quickly without any problems. It is a good size to store many cushions and other deck items. Just be aware, it is big! Box went together easily. The light color top doesn't fade like a dark top. It can be locked. Good value, nice box! This is our 2nd Rubbermaid box. The first lasted for years and was given to a neighbor when we moved because we couldn't fit it on the vehicle. It was still doing the job after many years.

Was easy to put together except there were lots of pictures with no words. Last step (8) was the worst. We figured out we had to drill our own hole into a tiny indent. Looks waterproof. Took down one star because I would never have an adult sit on that AcA?A?seat.AcA?A?

This is the second product I have purchased and they are great boxes. Easy to assemble and they last a very long time. The first one was purchased four years ago and still looks great. The new one is for another use and expect it to last a very long time as well.Buying from Walmart was such an easy thing to do and the shipping information was perfect. Will buy more from Walmart!!!

Dont waste your money! I put this together easily but with the slightest movement the sides come undone. They do not snap together with a tight fit. I could also see light coming through the sides. There is no way this is weatherproof

It snapped together and it's a tough storage box. I especially like that I can put a lock on it. Kiddingly, I told my spouse that it'd make a cheap coffin. It holds a lot of items. I keep my blower, trimmer, shovels, extension cords, pool stuff etc. in it. It's a great buy too!

Huge, and no way a bench unless you 6 feet tall or taller! Struggling to keep it together in an airtight manner (?) - other than that, you can definitely fit ALOT in this mini storage shed.

This is even better than I expected. After reading review I was concerned about it being weatherproof and at first I saw some of the cracks other reviews mentioned but once everything was snapped into place it was fine. Assembly was easy and quick. I am impressed with it.

When I first opened this deck box and put it together my first impression was how uneven and poorly constructed it is. It does not have good fitting corners or lid. After using this deck box over the summer it has been a huge disappointment requiring constant readjustments just to keep it fitting together securely with minimal usage. I would not recommend this deck box.

The deck box arrived quickly. It was easy to assemble except the plastic bolts to anchor the lid were extremely difficult to attach and once completed the lid did not close appropriately. I own an older Rubbermaid deck box which was well constructed, fit together without any problems and assembled much easier. I'm concerned that the plastic hinges on this 90 gallon deck box will not last.

I really like this item. It was really easy to put together and it looks exactly as you see here. It is strong too. I weigh nearly 300 lbs and I can comfortably use this as a seat without fear of it collapsing. I may be a bit tall to use as a seat for people under 6ft but it is actually an inch or two shorter that boxes of comparable volume

If you are looking for a leak-proof container to store your patio cushions all year long, this container has gaps at the rounded corners. The pieces just snap together at the top and bottoms of the panels. Reminds me of a child's toy.

Great storage. Easy to assemble except the hinge part so you may need a helper to hold the cover in place while you hammer it. But other than that everything is easy. I was able to assemble in less than 10 mins. It's big enough to store a lot of my yard work stuff.

Looks nice but not waterproof. The sides lean out as they only slide into place. Closing lid is the only thing that keeps the sides together so any type of moisture can leak right in. DO NOT sit on this; putting even light boxes will make sides start to come apart even with the lid securly closed.

This is a decent sized box. Plastic is of adequate thickness. Goes together with nice, tight tolerances. It would be difficult for critters to sneak in. Assembles very easily without the need for tools except for lid retention straps. That's the weak point of the unit. The retention straps are secured with small machine screws into hollow plastic. They will hardly hold up if the lid blew open. Other than that, this is a great deck box.

Lid straps too weak

Generally the box was easy to assemble and strong enough for its use as a deck box. However, the two vinyl straps and screws provided to keep the lid from falling back were woefully inadequate. One strap broke as soon as I put any strain on it. I had to replace them with light chain. Even with that I fear the small screws securing the chain will pull out. This needs an upgrade.

It was easy to assemble and a great size for an occasionally needed extra seat. It doesn't have hand holds so it is not as easy to move. It also doesn't like to be overfilled as it will start to come apart at the sides.

It's all put together (took 2 people). It's a Rubbermaid, so good quality right? We closely followed directions, although they are very poor. So I don't know why I have to keep pushing together the sides to the back and front panels, otherwise there are gaping open seams? The bottom foundation has tabs for the back panel to fit in that collect rainwater. It looks good, but not what was described so, not what I thought I was buying.

Just purchased this product and my husband put it together and it falls aparT. Not all the pieces lock together, if the front or back loosen up the sides fall apart. I bought this to replace the extremely cheap one I purchased years ago that has a crappy lid only for that to be better than the Rubbermaid one.

Quick delivery. Easy to put together. Unfortunately, as big as it is; the seat cushions I wanted to put in here don't easily fit. The provided dimensions are exterior dimensions and the walls are pretty thick; so it really cuts down on the interior space. Also, the top doesn't really snap into place the way that I was hoping for a Rubbermaid product.

Came when it was supposed to. You have to put it together. It is not one box - a few pieces. Was worried about water getting in. I will have to see when it rains how dry the inside stays. But other than that - we love it! Very happy with it.

Great looking, nice two tune color combination which is I like. Only thing I wish it could be better is gap in beween picieces. It might get dust and rain. I wanted to return it but since I already assembled it so I decided to keep it instead. It should have been made better for the price. The quality is not worth for the price. Bit disappointed.

Easy to put together, however any pressure put on from the inside (cushions pressing against the side) makes the sides bend and leave gaps in seams - it needs to be screwed together to stay sealed.

I was ready to spend 50.00 on a 50 gallon size deck box at ALDI but after seeing how small it was I knew was just way to small. So I did what anyone would do I went to Walmart .com saw the 121 gallon deck box read the great reviews and ordered it. 3 days later it arrived, the assembly was super easy and 20 minutes later... Done!! Plenty of room inside for all those things you need on the patio

The shipping box had a large hole in it. The lid straps were missing. (They keep the lid from over extending)The storage unit is easy to put together and has plenty of room for storage.
