No heirs and although It pains me to part with my Grandmother's glove box,
anyone who appreciates this beautiful American art form will treasure i
t.
The piece is one of several stunning cut glass pieces given for her 1910 Butte, Montana wedding.
I remember my Mother polishing the silver fittings (the hinges are in fine shape) but as I'm not sure of the
best method of cleaning, I'll leave that to a more knowledgeable caretaker. I can't tell if some areas are worn or just need
a shine.
There a few faint scratches on either bottom ends but otherwise in lovely condition.
