French Foreign Legion uniform
dated 1939
Named paratrooper
Rare!!!
You won't find a French Foreign Legion nicer than this, that is clearly dated from WW2!    And it is named to a captain!  It is virtually complete, with the tunic, pants, kepi, cords, legion emblem, wings, shoulder epaulettes, and major award medal bar that includes the Legion de Honneur.  The medal bar is the only addition to the uniform I added later, but the original medal bar holding clips/threads are original to the tunic.  The shirt and tie are modern and I will send them also in order to make a better display.
This uniform is in excellent condition with only a couple small moth nips on the rear of the pants and a couple small minor stains on the left side.  It is a small size.   I can't imagine the pants are bigger than a 27" waist.   The white kepi is lightly stained from outside wear, but not in bad shape.   The buttons on the side are legion marked.
This extraordinary uniform displays beautifully!   I can't imagine you will find another like it.
