Description
Beautiful antique silver plate pitcher with an ornate repoussé design. The style of this small lidded pitcher or creamer leads me to believe it dates to the Victorian or Edwardian era. Given its small size, it may have been used for syrup long ago. It features a lovely black handle that I believe may be made of wood. I also think this may be silver on top of copper, as there are some bald spots on the bottom with a coppery hue showing through. The interior is unlined.CONDITION: GOOD
(Poor-->Fair-->Good-->Very Good-->Excellent-->Mint):
Some discoloration and tarnish present, although I did polish out the worst of it (it was in quite a state when it came to me!). Handle shows wear with some of the black - paint? - chipping off near the bottom. Handle also wobbles a bit, but doesn't seem to be in any danger of falling off. The lid has an interior "lip" that is somewhat misshapen causing the lid to sit a bit askew

I aim to please, and describe every item to the best of my ability. But please note that my vintage items often received frequent use back in their day, so may show visible signs of wear and age. Personally, I wouldn't have it any other way, as I treasure those marks of the past.
