    Description

    This is an elegant etched glass CLARET JUG or ewer with an ornate silver plate mount.  The handle features a strategically draped figural Putto on the handle and an angry looking Bacchus head as the spout.  There are no markings that I could find - suspect this piece may be English - late 19th or early 20th century.
