Description

Vintage Adrian military metal helmet shell in ok physical condition. Has a blue gray finish that appears to have been brushed on and also has lots of patina that looks to have then been covered with a thin coating of varnish or shellac. There are small dents all over including on the rear portion of the comb (see photos). Helmet appears to be one piece with the comb welded (not riveted) on. Just the helmet shell and does not include the liner or any other components. Overall dimensions are approx. 8 7/8" W x 11 3/4" L. Have not been able to determine the actual country or period of origin for this item. Estate item that was stored for many years in an unheated aircraft hangar and is sold as pictured and AS IS and cannot be returned.
